Monument Impact advances economic and racial equity by integrating advocacy with critical learning opportunities to ensure community members have the power and skills to improve their lives.
“By learning computer skills, I can compete in the job market. I can aspire to an administrative position or even open my own business. ”
Fernando, Beginning Technology Student
We offer multiple pathways to economic advancement including computer skills from beginning to advanced, job readiness and placements, and we support emerging businesses to become licensed.
Through community engagement, Monument Impact’s members build their power to fight for economic justice and racial equity.
Using a holistic approach to health equity, we interweave advocacy, culturally sensitive mental and physical health programs, and outreach to ensure residents’ voices are heard.
Our cross-cutting programs, including Arts & Culture and Immigration Services, explore critical issues identified by community members. Some are stand alone programs like Day Labor, others may be temporary projects with an end goal of creating equity-centered policy to help close the income gap, like ELEVATE Concord.
